Florida 100km
Also known as the IMS 100km after sponsor Independent Maintenance Services
and then the Bettie Smith Memorial 100km. Initially a 1.25km loop through the
suburbs around Trezona Park in Florida (then in Transvaal, now Gauteng) requiring 80 laps
and later increased to a 2.5km loop. Race last held in 199-
Started in 1976 on a 500m track. Run as the Harlequins Nite Race in 1980
and as The Hyperama 100 in 1984. Held for 9? years

Vaal 100km
Held in October together with the Vaal 100 miler. Both events now follow
a circuit starting at the Old Vaaltonians club in Vanderbijlpark. Circuit
length is between 4 and 5km. The outgoing leg is through the suburbs while
the return leg passes through agricultural smallholdings. The whole route
is tarred. Two waterpoints are provided.
